Historically charismatic leaders are ones with the ability to bring forth passion in their followers. They inspire the followers with loyalty and devotion thus making them abide by the leader’s rules without any hesitancy. Such leaders have been efficient in trying to bring about change in the society. The assignment evaluates the concept of charismatic leadership by answering key questions like; what is charismatic leadership? What are the benefits of Charismatic Leadership? What are the qualities of a charismatic leader?
Charismatic leadership is a leadership style that bases its qualities on the leader’s ability to communicate and behave in ways that emotionally inspire, influence, and motivate others. A charismatic leader is one who is able to positively influence an environment with his or her energy. These leaders encourage others to be better.
The primary aim of charismatic leaders is to inspire and encourage the people they work with or those who follow them to achieve a common set goal. They inspire their followers by establishing a deep connection with their feelings so as to construct deep levels of dependence and desire that motivate them to do their best toward achieving a certain goal. There is a huge difference between charismatic leadership and other forms of leadership reason being it puts much emphasis on the relationships between leaders and team members. 
Charismatic leadership has several benefits for organizations such as

⦁    Improved communication: Charismatic leaders are skilled communicators who can articulate their vision and goals clearly and effectively.
⦁    Greater trust: Charismatic leaders are often seen as trustworthy and honest, which can help build trust between leaders and followers.
⦁    Better decision-making: Charismatic leaders are confident in their abilities and decisions, which can lead to better decision-making.
⦁    Increased innovation: Charismatic leaders encourage creativity and innovation among their followers.
However, it is important to note that charismatic leadership is not always appropriate in all situations. In some circumstances, it can lead to overconfidence, arrogance, and a lack of accountability. Therefore, it is important for leaders to be aware of the potential disadvantages of this leadership style and to use it judiciously.
