With a revenue of US$394.3 billion in 2022, Apple is one of the world's largest technology companies in the world with a market capitalization of more than $2.6 trillion (Forbes, 2023). In addition, it is the second-largest mobile phone manufacturer in the world with the first company being Samsung (Statista, 2023). Apple is one of the Big Five American information technology companies, along with Alphabet, Amazon, Meta Platforms, and Microsoft (CompaniesMarketCap.com).
